Welcome to Holly Park

   WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY

Thank You for your interest in our Community which we affectionately call the "Hidden Jewel of Hawthorne."

We are situated in the north-east corner of Hawthorne, bordering the City of Inglewood to the west and north, the City of Los Angeles to the east, and the City of Gardena to the south.

We invite you to take a Virtual Tour of our Community and discover why we call it the "Hidden Jewel of Hawthorne."

   HOLLY PARK EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN

The Holly Park Emergency Preparedness Plan is available for immediate download.

The Association Safety Committee has assembled essential emergency information in the Holly Park Emergency Preparess Plan.

Please read the document and locate the emergency contact person that is closest to your residence address.

A special thank you to Safety Committee members Olivia Valentine, Fay Osborne, Darvis Johnson, Melody Robinson and Alice Inge for their hard work.

SIGN-UP TO RECEIVE AUTOMATED L.A. COUNTY ALERTS

Los Angeles County has implemented an emergency mass notification system that will be used to contact County residents and business via recorded phone messages, text messages or email messages in case of emergency.

Because the "Alert LA County" system uses the 911 database, only land-line numbers are automatically included in the system. If you have a cellular or Voice over IP number and would like to be notified on that device, or if you would like an email notification, you must register those telephone numbers and/or email address by completing this registration form.

Because the Alert LA County system uses geomaping, each telephone number and/or email address can only be associated with one street address in the system.

Each telephone number and email address registered here will be contacted only when the street address it is associated with is impacted by a disaster or emergency.

   EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS RESOURCES

In anticipation of the next rude awakening, we have assembled a collection of articles and brochures from many public sources that can serve as a guide to get us started in our Emergency Preparedness. Please feel free to download these articles, and please pay a visit to their respective web sites.

Is your home insured for the "Big One?" Nature reminds us from time to time that we should take steps to prepare for disaster and make plans to mitigate the effects of the same.

A recent article in the Los Angeles Times written by Marc Lifsher takes a look at Earthquake Insurance. It is a timely piece that will help you decide on whether or not to secure Earthquake Insurance for your home. You can read the complete article here.

You can find the original article on the Los Angeles Times website here.
