MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

The Holly Park Community of the City of Hawthorne welcomes you. Holly Park Homeowners Association is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the needs and requirements of the Holly Park Community. All of our work is performed on a volunteer basis. This means that all of our proceeds obtained through membership fees are recycled back to the Holly Park Community.

Our passion is the improvement of our community, a better quality of life, a safe environment for our children.

Jose C. Gutierrez, President HPHA

   QUOTE OF THE MONTH

"Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

This holds true, especially when we are called to perform random acts of kindness for the good of others. As we kick-off another round of "Operation Clean Sweep," we realize the truth that this quote holds. The socially unacceptable behavior of a few who litter our alley ways with their rubbish and discarded household goods is counteracted by the labor and sacrifice of a few who come to our aid and clean our alley ways.

The time has come to stop looking the other way, and to stop ignoring our surroundings. By joining as one, we can improve our lives and the lives of our neighbors. At the end of the day, our community and all those that live within it will benefit from our vigilance and labor.

Jose C. Gutierrez, President HPHA
