Operation Clean Sweep 2007
A Community Improvement Project in conjunction with Allied Waste and Hawthorne Public Works
Operation Clean Sweep
- In keeping with its Mission Statement to "Maintain, preserve, advance, and enhance the Holly Park Community of the City of Hawthorne", the Holly Park Homeowners Association created this ongoing program to address the illegal disposal of large, bulky items in our alleys.
This Community Improvement Project is the result of a joint effort between the Holly Park Homeowners Association, Allied Waste Services, and the City of Hawthorne Public Works Department.
It was set in motion in September 2007 with "Operation Clean Sweep Kick-Off," and was followed thereafter by a subsequent "clean-sweep" in November 2007.
The following images are a testimony to the resolve of all the "Clean-Sweep" Team
to rid Holly Park of illegally disposed items, to maintain the residential character
of our community, and to preserve our property values.
